Dewa Shrestha Greenleaf is a Program Specialist & Student Support Lead at Perennial, where she focuses on the development, administration, and student experience for Perennial Academy courses. With a background in education and global health, she is deeply committed to providing high-quality, accessible learning opportunities for health professionals worldwide.
Born in Kathmandu, Nepal, Dewa immigrated to the U.S. as a child and earned a bachelor’s degree in Political Science from the University of Wisconsin and a master’s degree in Health Promotion from the University of Iowa. Her graduate research explored health issues in immigrant and refugee communities, as well as the long-term impact of physical activity on bone development in children and adolescents.
Before joining Perennial, Dewa spent eight years as a Course Coordinator and Student Specialist with the University of Washington’s Department of Global Health E-Learning Program. In this role, she managed course content, student engagement, and administrative processes, ensuring the seamless delivery of online courses for a diverse, international student body. Her experience has strengthened her passion for innovative, inclusive education that empowers health professionals to drive meaningful change in their communities.
