Perennial Academy
Perennial Academy is a collection of virtual, web-based programs designed to both advance knowledge and cultivate reflective and sustainable leadership practices. Unlike many online programs that focus solely on technical skills and expertise, Perennial Academy integrates deep self-inquiry, relational wisdom, and wellbeing as essential components of leadership development. It recognizes that while technical skills are important, lasting leadership requires practices that sustain both the leader and the communities they serve.
Each program emphasizes content learning in various topics related to leadership, management, public health, and education, while also integrating intentional reflection and wellbeing as essential leadership capacities. By blending synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences, Perennial Academy provides a flexible structure that allows participants to engage at their own pace while also benefiting from interactive discussions and shared learning experiences.
Perennial Academy is designed for leaders at all levels who recognize that self-awareness, renewal, and sustainable leadership practices are essential for long-term impact. Through its programs, the Academy provides a space for leaders to strengthen their inner capacities, deepen relational wisdom, and sustain their leadership over time.
By offering a collection of self-paced and interactive programs, Perennial Academy ensures that learning is both personal and relational, fostering leadership that is rooted in reflection, resilience, and deep connection.
- The Soil of Leadership Virtual Program: A self-paced course that deepens understanding of soil-based leadership, guiding participants through six modules exploring foundational principles, connection, reflective inquiry, and sustainable leadership.
- Wellbeing for Leaders: A course designed to integrate wellbeing as a leadership practice, helping participants cultivate resilience, balance, and sustainability in their leadership journey. This program was developed in collaboration with the University of Washington (UW), with a purpose to enhance the wellbeing of individuals working within the healthcare sector. Since its launch in 2022, this program has successfully reached and made a significant impact on the lives of thousands of participants. The UW’s extensive reach and infrastructure have been instrumental in scaling the program to accommodate the growing demand for participation.
- Future Offerings: Additional courses will explore themes of regenerative leadership, deep listening, and relational wisdom, providing ongoing opportunities for leadership development.
